Dusty Strings Hammered Dulcimers
Dusty Strings builds different models of Hammered Dulcimers. They differ in size, use of materials and bracing methods. Each model has its own advantages. For example, the cost-effective model Prelude has a laminated soundboard, a beautiful sweet balanced tone and is also very easily transportable. Conversely, the large model D650, built of solid wood with a range of 4 ½ octave and a huge sound. Between these extremes Dusty Strings builds various models, different in material, size and range.
