Nagasawa, Masumi
Masumi Nagasawa teaches harp at the University of Music in Detmold, Germany. She studied at the Maastricht Conservatory with the renowned harpist Phia Berghout, she followed her studies historical harp with Mara Galassi. In 2018, she received her PhD degree from the University of Leeds, England. She plays the modern concert harp, the single- action pedal harp, Irish harp and traditional Japanese harp (the KUGO). She won several prestigious awards and performed in many major theaters and was a guest at many international festivals at home and abroad.
Masumi Nagasawa geeft les in Hochschule für Musik Detmold, Duitsland. Ze studeerde aan het Conservatorium Maastricht bij de bekende harpiste Phia Berghout, haar studie historische harp volgde ze bij Mara Galassi. Zij is gepromoveerd in 2018 en behaalde haar Doktoraat aan de Universiteit Leeds, Engeland. Ze bespeelt de moderne concertharp, de enkelvoudige pedaalharp, de Ierse harp en de klassieke Japanse harp (de Kugo). Ze won diverse prestigieuze prijzen en trad op in vele grote theaters en was te gast op talrijke internationale festivals in binnen- en buitenland.
