Translations and Transformations
Carol Wood was inspired to make music to a number of poems that have been beautifully translated. Putting a poem to music is actually also a form of translation. Hence the title of this book. It contains poems translated from Ancient Greek, Early Irish, Eighth Century Chinese. It was the beauty of the translations that made Carol want to set them.
