Pastorale and Sonata both are fairly unknown compositions. The Sonata is mainly inspired on the "Jota", an intricate and challenging Spanish dance. Written for pedal harp. These pieces are very suitable for a performance. Playing level: the Pastorale easy to medium grade, the Sonate is medium to difficult grade.
Scarlatti is famous for his harpsichord work. Some of his most beautiful pieces have been edited by Susan Miron for harp. Some parts are adapted to make them playable for harp. But the result is as close as possible to the original.

Great harp I needed a harp that was easy on my hands. Other Dusty models had a rich sound that I loved, but my hands hurt after playing for a while. The Serrana sounds fantastic amplified, and is easy for this senior to transport to gigs.
