Written in memory of a very talented and sorely-missed friend, who died unexpectedly and far too young in May 2021. His funeral was in the tiny Norman church of St Andrew in Chilcomb, just outside Winchester, and Stephen played this piece to accompany him on his way.

At the ceremony, instead of flowers, donations to the Oxfam Emergency Fund were invited. With that in mind, a minimum of £2 for each copy of this piece sold will go to that fund.
