These pieces can also be used as useful studies of medium difficulty.

The score contains separate versions for Pedal Harp and Lever Harp as well as suggestions for division to enable performance by a Harp Ensemble.

A Welsh Landscape is dedicated to Rosalind Sharples. Painter, poet and harpist, Rosalind and her husband, the sculptor Chris Sharples, live in one of the most beautiful parts of Pembrokeshire. It was this landscape, showing the magic of Wales, which inspired this suite of pieces.

The Passacaglia is based on the repetitive pattern of four bass notes, Eb, Ab, Db, Bb. It is brutally broken by a discordant E natural as the wave engulfs everything in its path. Time goes on, and peace and hope return

Petite Suite includes:
Prelude: Early morning on the Seine. The sun shines and the surface of the water is only disturbed by swallows, dragonflies and a small boat. Cows graze in the meadows which lead down to the water. One hears only the joyous cries of Swallows and the song of birds from the wood on the southern bank.
Nocturne: The countryside at Ande lies under the low and heavy clouds of a summer
