The strings in this scheme are numbered from the shortest string of your harp. For the Salvi pedal harps with 47 strings, the shortest string of the harp according to the generic Bow Brand scheme is 00G.

By default, on pedal harps with gut strings, the first octave is strung with nylon, the rest with gut and the bass strings with steel core, wire wrapped strings.
