Play the Therapy Harp
The term "therapy harp" is used to describe any small harp that is suitable for playing for therapeutic purposes for yourself or others. Laurie Riley’s book, Play the Therapy Harp is a combination of many modes of the beginning harp experience. It gives the person who is curious about the harp, or just starting, a taste of many basics. It is a reference book for basic music theory, it has several very good exercises, several etudes, and finally original repertoire. This original repertoire is not necessarily easy. Fingerings and brackets are well marked, but they require a solid background in technique. All music is in the key of C, so no sharping levers are needed. This is not a method book, but more of an introduction and reference book that you’ll come back to at many stages of your playing. 36 pages.
