Weissgerber Artemis 39

The 39-string Weissgerber Celtic harp is very nicely built. The harp has a curved sound box, like more harps are built in southern Germany, Switzerland and Austria. The harp has a very clear sound with very warm bass, the sound of a double bass. This harp is built of solid wood with a soundboard of fine red cedar.

Features of the 39 string Celtic harp:

  • Tone ranges from E (nearly 3 octaves below central C) tot A.
  • Built in walnut or cherry wood.
  • With carbon or gut strings. The 11 wound bass strings have a silk core (no steel core).
  • Camac levers
  • Height 160 cm.
  • Weight about 11 kilo
  • A transport case is available.
