Weissgerber Artemis 34

Pepe Rasmus Weissgerber is a young harp builder (1979) from Berlin, Germany. He has learned the trade from Frank Sievert and Andreas Hermert. 

The 34-string Weissgerber Celtic harp is made of the finest woods and has a nice shape. The soundboard is bent, like many harps that are built in the south of Germany, Switzerland and Austria. It has a nice bright sound with a warm base part. 

Features of the 34-string Celtic harp:

  • Tone ranges from C (2 octaves below central C) to A.
  • Built in walnut or cherry wood.
  • With carbon or gut strings. The lowest 5 bass strings have a silk core (no steel core).
  • Height 137 cm.
  • Weight 8 kg.
  • A transport case is available.

In the period from June 25 up to July 6, 2024, Davide Rosso from Salvi and Lyon&Healy comes to maintain and regulate Salvi and L&H lever harps and pedal harps. 

maintenance/regulation lever harp, duration 1.5 hours, costs 150 euros
maintenance/regulation pedal harp without new felts, duration 2 hours, costs 275 euros
maintenance/regulation pedal harp with new felts, duration 3 hours, costs 400 euros

The prices quoted do not include new parts, such as strings, levers, wheels or pedal caps.
