The strings in this scheme are numbered from the shortest string of your harp. For the Salvi 47 string harps, the shortest string of the harp according to the generic Bow Brand scheme is 00G.

By default, on pedal harps with gut strings, the first octave is strung with nylon, the rest with gut and the bass strings with steel. In this scheme the first octave also consists entirely of gut strings.

Stage II is the third book in the Harp Olympics Series. Material introduced in this book includes: three-finger rolled chords, advanced turn-around glissandi, three-finger inversions, sliding and three and four-finger arpeggios. In Games and Drills, students progress in sight-reading,improvisation and dynamic expression, and increase their vocabulary of music symbols and terms. Ties and slurs are introduced, as well as transposing.

Another famous miniature, brilliantly written for the harp by Marcel Tournier. His impressionistic Vers la source dans le bois (Towards the fountain in the wood) was written in 1922. 

This is also characteristically written for harp, with flowing arpeggios and other familiar effects. This piece depicts the flowing water of a fountain. A well-known piece, often played on harp recitals. 8 pages.
