Pearl is a three-page composition written in honor of the composer’s nephew at the occasion of his First Communion. The lever version is in C, the pedal version in C flat. There are no accidentals, and the introduction of glissandos is beautiful.

Angels Wings is written in honor of Mercy Medical Angels, a transportation crew who air lifted Astrid’s daughter to emergency heart surgery some ten years ago. Astrid’s daughter drew the Angel picture on the cover. She is quite a gifted artist.
