Shady Grove
Shady Grove features 14 pieces from Kim Robertson's Shady Grove CD, arranged by Kim for solo harp. It includes renditions of American folk songs, Stephen Foster tunes, and English and Irish ballads that migrated to the Southern Appalachians, as well as hymns and dances from Playford's 'The English Dancing Master'. Most of the pieces are in the key of C, or 1 or 2 sharps; 'I Will Arise' is in the key of D minor (1 flat). For intermediate harp players, chord symbols are included, but no fingerings. 54 pages, spiral-bound.
