Searching for Lambs
This 52-page, spiral bound book features 14 selections from Kim Robertson's recording "Searching for Lambs" (Gourd Music), arranged for solo harp. It contains well-known hymns (Be Thou My Vision, Poor Wayfaring Stranger, All Things Bright & Beautiful), several traditional Celtic melodies (Grenadier & the Lady, My Love is Like a Red, Red Rose, etc), and an exotic composition by Kim (Maya's Return), featuring innovative sound effects. The arrangements are intermediate to advanced level, in keys of one to three sharps, with just a few accidentals/lever changes. Suitable for 34-string lever harp (to low C) or pedal harp, these are full-length transcriptions from the recording, complete with introductions and interludes. These easy-to-read, diverse arrangements will be useful for the professional harpist playing weddings and background music. The cover art on the book is a beautiful water color by Deb Knodel of two precious lambs munching on grass. It's a very peaceful picture. 52 pages. Spiral bound.
