Deuxième sonate
Benoît Pollet is a harpist and composer of French classical music. Born in 1753 in Bethune, Jean-Benoît-Joseph Pollet was a pupil of Johann Baptist Krumpholz. He died in Paris on April 16 1823.
His only work that is published is this Second Sonata for non pedal harp, edited by Denise Megevand. This sonata in Es major has no pedal changes, as it is adapted to the technical limitations of the classical harp of those days, before Erard invented his double action harp.
