Two Masterpieces - arr. Carl Swanson
Two Masterpieces for solo harp: Impromptu, Op. 86 and Une Châtelaine en sa tour..., Op. 110
New engravings that blow away the cobwebs and shine a bright new light on two significant pieces in harp repertoire.
In this edition, both pieces are engraved the way they are actually played. Pedal changes are presented in a large font that is easy to read. Enharmonic notes have been respelled, and passages have been re-notated and fingered to show more clearly which hand plays what. Carl Swanson has not in any way altered either composition but presents these original pieces makes it easier for harpists to play them. The good notes and comments will save harp students lots of hours of research.
