The music of Michael Glinka (1804-1857) was a source of inspiration for later composers such as Tchaikovsky and Rimsky-Korsakov. He is therefore also called the father of Russian music. The Romance “Der Zweifel” has a fairly simple harp part, and the trio can be played with different line-ups. The atmosphere is calm and carried, the key is D minor.
